The AASA Governing Board will convene at the annual Legislative Advocacy meeting July 9-11 to learn about federal issues and advocate with our MN delegation of legislators.
We will also install Gustavo Balderas (Supt. Beaverton, OR) as our new AASA President and David Law will assume his new role as the President-Elect for AASA. We are proud that David will continue to represent us at the national level.
We will spend time meeting with our colleagues representing Region 3 to discuss topics that are important for our advocacy.

Key issues that are expected to be addressed are:
- E-Rate and Technology
- Student Data Privacy
- Title IX Follow-up
- Staffing shortages
