Who do you know needs that extra nudge to jump into the superintendency?
We are excited to announce that MASA is now accepting applications for the 2023-24 Minnesota Aspiring Superintendents Academy. This program is designed for educators across the state who are considering the superintendency as a possible next step in their careers. The program provides a comprehensive experience that covers a wide range of topics, including leadership development, communication, school board relationships, decision-making, community engagement, interviewing and contract negotiation, and much more.
Facilitated by experienced school administrators and other experts in their fields, the program will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in a top district leadership role. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best educators in the state, build a strong professional network, and gain the skills and confidence needed to lead a school district.
We are asking our current (and former) leaders to consider encouraging educators and future leaders in your network to apply for this program. As a member of our education community, you know firsthand the importance of having well-prepared and effective leaders at the helm of our school districts. By supporting and encouraging others to apply, you can help ensure that our education system is in good hands for years to come. Please share this information with anyone in your network that you want to “tap on the shoulder” to become a future school leader!
Be sure to share this Aspiring Superintendents Academy promotional video with your colleagues. You can also check out the informational flier here!
